Description |
It is an alpha- and beta- adrenoreceptors subtypes agonist and a MAO inhibitor. Alkaloid derivative of (+)-Pseudoephedrine from plants of the Ephedra genus, Ephedraceae. |
Biological activity | It increases the arterial pressure and the heart contraction strength, but reduces the heart rhythm. Therefore, in contrast with (-)-Ephedrine, (+)-Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride nearly does not change the blood flow. |
